Privacy Policy

SIML Studio by SIML Inc. — Effective April 1, 2026

SIML Inc. ("SIML," "we," "us," or "our") operates the SIML Studio platform at studio.trysiml.com and trysiml.com, as well as Chrome Extension products including ListingAI, Wind AI, ProfitLens, ReturnGuard, BundleIQ, ReviewMiner, and TikTok Tools (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Services.

By accessing or using any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account via Google OAuth, we collect your name and email address as provided by Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

1.2 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. Stripe may share with us limited information such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, expiration date, and billing address for record-keeping and support purposes.

1.3 Extension Usage Data

Our Chrome Extensions collect anonymous usage analytics to improve product quality. This may include feature usage frequency, error logs, extension version, browser type, and general interaction patterns. We do not collect the content of web pages you visit outside of the specific functionality provided by each extension (e.g., product listing data you explicitly choose to analyze).

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our websites, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use Vercel Analytics for website performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and provide customer support.
  • To deliver, maintain, and improve our Services and Chrome Extensions.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., subscription confirmations, billing receipts).
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve product functionality.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data Storage

Your account data and application data are stored using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database platform with built-in security features including row-level security and encryption at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on cloud services located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

We may share your information only with:

  • Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate our business (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, Google for authentication, Vercel for hosting and analytics). These providers only access your data as necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, in which case you will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics. Specifically:

  • Essential cookies: Required for authentication and core functionality. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Used by Vercel Analytics to understand how users interact with our website. These are privacy-friendly and do not track users across websites.

You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

6. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with the following third-party providers:

  • Google (OAuth): For account authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Gemini API:Listing content you submit for AI optimization (such as titles, descriptions, and tags) is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Google's handling of this data is governed by their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not store this content on our servers; it is processed entirely on your device and sent directly to the Gemini API from the browser extension.
  • Stripe: For payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase: For data storage and backend services. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel: For website hosting and analytics. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, tax, or compliance purposes (e.g., billing records), which may be retained for up to 7 years.

Anonymous, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Export: Request a machine-readable export of your data.
  • Objection: Object to certain processing of your personal data.
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.

9. GDPR Compliance (EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the Services you have requested.
  • Legitimate interest: Processing for product improvement, fraud prevention, and security.
  • Consent: Where you have given explicit consent (e.g., marketing communications).

You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. CCPA Compliance (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" of your personal information (we do not sell personal information).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. 12. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, row-level security policies, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a revised effective date. If changes are significant, we may also notify you via email. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
